Responsibility
As an Austrian family-owned business, we are driven by values. Built for resilience. Grounded in continuity. Creating global impact.
The next generation of high-power semiconductor testing.
Megatrends such as artificial intelligence, decarbonization, digitalization and e-mobility demand a new generation of semiconductors – and with them, innovative testing concepts. These increasingly rely on advanced chip materials like Silicon Carbide (SiC) and Gallium Nitride (GaN).
T.I.P.S. is at the forefront of these developments, focusing on next-generation test hardware solutions for power devices and sensors. Our proprietary technologies – such as TIPS High Voltage LuPo® and Power KGD – enable reliable and scalable testing to meet tomorrow’s needs, today.
We shape the future.
Without a reliable supply of high-power semiconductors and modules, key technologies – from data centers and high-speed trains to power grids and EVs – cannot unlock their full potential. The bottleneck isn’t just in chip production: it’s also in the ability to test them.
At the core of delivering fully functional power semiconductors lies the ability to produce high-tech test hardware at scale. Especially in the power segment, expanding test capacity is a critical prerequisite for progress.
By scaling our technologies, we actively drive the shift toward a smarter, cleaner, and more resilient future – bridging industrial innovation with environmental responsibility.
Sustainability isn’t a goal. It’s our commitment.
At our site in Villach, Austria, T.I.P.S. ensures a 100% CO₂-neutral manufacturing process, supported by a state-of-the-art, fossil-free infrastructure.
We innovate with responsibility:
- 100% of our electricity comes from certified renewable energy.
- ~30% of our demand is met by our own photovoltaic system.
- Zero reliance on fossil fuels, full commitment to energy self-sufficiency.
- We have set a scientific based target and committed ourselves to remain CO2 neutral.
We deliver semiconductor testing technologies that make a real difference:
Our entire organization and product line are designed to minimize environmental impact and maximize efficiency and effectiveness: Ecologic. Efficient. Scalable.
T.I.P.S products are designed to test. With uncompromised quality we ensure a long lifetime of our products.
TIPS LuPo® and Power KGD
TIPS LuPo® and Power KGD technologies enables safe, scalable, economic, and SF₆-free high-power semiconductor testing.
TIPS Probe Refresher
TIPS Probe Refresher extends the lifetime of probe cards, reducing waste and increasing efficiency across test cycles.
SF₆-free. For a cleaner future.
Just 1 kilogram of SF₆ has the same climate impact as 24,300 kilograms of CO₂ – That’s equivalent to driving a typical car more than 200,000 kilometers.
Our proprietary TIPS LuPo® technology removes the need for SF₆ during semiconductor testing entirely: delivering safe, reliable, scalable, and environmentally conscious high voltage testing for the next generation of semiconductors. Suitable for EWS and Power KGD.
One test at a time, we reduce emissions.
Disruptive times. Resilient operations.
Resiliency.
That’s why we’ve chosen to act, not just react.
We know that even the best designs can’t be manufactured on time if the macroeconomic environment isn’t stable. That’s why our manufacturing process is designed to adapt.
A key strength lies in our vertical integration: with high in-house production depth and our One-Stop-Shop approach, we maintain direct control over critical steps in the value chain, reducing dependencies and increasing responsiveness. This enables us to deliver complete solutions from a single source, with maximum flexibility and reliability.
In addition, we’ve invested in smart production planning, connected ecosystems, and strategic inventory management to reduce risk and strengthen our operational resilience.
When global supply chains come under pressure, we stay focused on what matters. From sourcing critical materials and managing lead times to navigating disruptions, we keep projects on track without compromising quality.
And we respond fast: whether it means qualifying alternative components, adjusting builds, or working side by side with our customers and suppliers to find the right solution. It’s all about keeping things moving.
To ensure high availability and continuity, even in disruptive times, we rely on a trusted network of suppliers and manufacturing partners, primarily based in Europe.
For us, resiliency goes far beyond supply chain continuity.
It’s a holistic approach that includes human-centric operations, state-of-the-art infrastructure, redundancy of critical skills and knowledge, robust cybersecurity, strong data governance, long-term trusted partnerships, and comprehensive support for our customers.
Placing these approaches at the center of our decision-making prepares us for what’s next. This is how we protect the work we’ve done, the promises we’ve made, and the trust our customers place in us.
Because in our world, stability and continuity matter just as much as innovation.
